To this end, our accomplished Technicians regularly attend advanced training seminars designed to meet the high standards of today's sophisticated European automobiles. Constantly updated, our diagnostic and service equipment meets and often exceeds that which you would find even at the dealership level.

At FAME we have a long tradition of customer-focused outcomes and service. We have a modern facility designed to take care of today’s customers and their automobiles.
We keep our tradition of customer focused outcomes and service by hiring only the best Technicians and highly trained Service Advisors. We procure the best parts available and continuously train to make sure the job is done right the first time.
We service BMW, Mercedes and Volvo vehicles and provide all repair and maintenance services needed for today’s modern automotive repair customers.
FAME is a member of and adheres to the strict guidelines and code of ethics of the Automotive Service Association (ASA), and is dedicated to our customers and their automobiles.

FAME's History
From Humble Beginnings to FAME
FAME (Foreign Auto Mechanical Engineers) was started in a driveway in Redmond, Washington in early 1984. It didn’t take long before it was apparent that that location was outgrown, let alone un-neighborly. A brand new automotive complex was being built in Kirkland, on Rose Hill just off the 405 freeway on 85th Street.
That became the first official shop location, opening our doors on March 15, 1985. Being in an automotive complex, we felt the need to expand and/or move around within the confines of the compound. We branched into a glass shop on the far end of the original location. Soon after that, we acquired the business (a detailing shop called ‘The AutoMint’) in the middle of the same building, built a mezzanine for parts and eventually outgrew our parking capabilities.

In 1992, we moved to our current spot in Redmond, WA where we have been since. Only one addition has happened while here – the creation of DynoAuthority, the Northwest’s premier All-Wheel-Drive Chassis Dynamometer. This two-bay addition has had the attention of automotive enthusiasts of ALL kinds.
We’ve worked with some of the most exotic cars on the planet as well as participating in the creation of some of today’s top car racing video games. All this while still maintaining the original focus of top service and maintenance for primarily European cars.

Our facility has 6 working bays and 5 hoists – each Technician has over 2 bays for their work area.
We also have the best equipment and resources available to assist our Technicians and Advisors to do their job at the highest level possible.
